InterSpeech 2012 will be hosted by the Center for Spoken Language Understanding, under the sponsorship of the International Speech Communication Association (ISCA). In order to register for the Conference, you must be or become a member of ISCA*.   Click here for more information on the benefits of an  ISCA Membership.

The conference registration fee includes:
  • Conference materials including a bag, USB stick with Conference Proceedings, and a printed Abstract Book
  • Entry to all official conference sessions
  • Refreshment breaks on Monday through Thursday and the Welcome Reception on Monday evening.
  • For Students/Retired Persons: one complimentary banquet ticket per registrant.
 
GO GREEN:  Opt out of receiving a printed copy of the Abstract Book and $20 will be deducted from your conference registration fee.

Method of Payment

Full payment must accompany all conference registrations and can be made by credit card. Payments not received within 30 days of the registration order may result in a cancellation of the order.

Cancellation notices must be received in writing by Friday, August 17, 2012 to receive a refund, less a $175 administrative fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after Friday, August 17, 2012.  Credit card refunds must be made to the same account used for payment.  If for any reason the Conference should be cancelled, InterSpeech 2012 will refund the registration fee in full within 90 days of cancellation. The Conference is not responsible for the refund of airfare, housing, or other personal travel expenses.
 
Substitution Policy
If you are unable to attend the Conference, payment of a $50 administrative fee enables you to transfer your registration to another person by notifying InterSpeech
2012 c/o Conference Solutions in writing by email, fax, or mail by Tuesday, September 4, 2012.    

 

Letter of Invitation
After completion of the online registration form, you will receive a link to create a Letter of Invitation for use in Visa applications. You will need to submit your Name, Date of Birth, Passport Number, and Nationality to generate the letter.
 
Changes to Registration Order
If you would like to make any changes or additions to your registration order please contact Register@ConferenceSolutionsInc.com with the order number, name of registrant and changes you would like to be made.
 
Registering on Someone's Behalf

If you would like to register on behalf of another person please be sure to check the box labeled "I am registering someone else for the Conference but will serve as the registration contact."

 
Badges
Conference identification badges are mandatory and will be required for admission to all Conference functions.
 
Publicity Policy
Each registrant grants InterSpeech 2012 the right to photograph/videotape participants and to use such photographs/videos and the names of attendees in materials which either represent the proceedings of the Conference or promote future conferences. Except for the official conference photographer/videographer, please note that no picture taking will be allowed in sessions. 
 
Liability
With paid registration, the participant acknowledges that he/she has no right to lodge claims against the Conference organizers should the meeting be altered, hindered, or prevented by unexpected political or economic events, unpredictable forces of nature, speaker cancellations or other unforeseeable events.
