SOCIAL PROGRAM

The InterSpeech 2012 social program has been finalized. Please look out for these confirmed events.

Monday, September 10:

Welcome Reception

6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Everybody is invited to the first social gathering of the Conference. Relax and unwind at the Welcome Reception to be held at the Hilton Portland & Executive Tower immediately following the last session of the day.

Tuesday, September 11:

Reviewer Appreciation Reception

7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

As a special "Thank You" for contributing their time and expertise in determining the content for this important Conference, Reviewers are invited to the Reviewers' Reception to be held at The Vault at the Treasury Ballroom. Join us before dinner for light hors d'oeuvres, mingling and a private look at this unique venue.

Tuesday, September 11:

Student Reception

9:00 pm - 11:00 pm

All students are invited to the Student Reception for music, dancing and drinks at McMenamins' Crystal Ballroom. This ballroom is the only one of its kind in Portland with a fun "floating" dance floor that we hope will be put to good use! A popular local DJ will get the party started at 9:00 pm.

This year's final night Banquet will be hosted at the Portland Art Museum, just a few blocks away from the Hilton in Portland's downtown park blocks. Exhibits will be open for viewing - exclusively for InterSpeech 2012 attendees only. Enjoy a festive atmosphere with old and new friends. The night will be complete with heavy hors d'oeuvres, drinks and live music set against an artistic museum backdrop.

Tickets are $45 for Non-Students. Students and Retired Attendees will receive a ticket with registration at no additional charge.
